SGMICRO introduces the SGM71622R8 series chip, an 8-channel, 16-bit, SPI interface,
digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with internal reference output. The device can be used in optical modules,
programmable logic controllers, industrial automation and laboratory instruments.

SGM71622R8 Series: A high-performance 16-bit, 8-channel,
low-power digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with support for SPI interfaces and internal benchmarks.

The SGM71622R8 series digital-to-analog converters, with their superior 16-bit accuracy and 8-channel design,
are ideal for low-power applications.
The chip family has a 2.5V, 5ppm/ ° C high precision internal reference, provides a programmable
full range output voltage range of 1.25V (gain =½), 2.5V (gain =1) or 5V (gain =2), and ensures high linearity up to ±0.5LSB (typical values).

This series of Dacs has a flexible serial operation interface,
is fully compatible with SPI, and supports a working clock frequency of up to 50MHz to meet the needs of high-speed data conversion.

The SGM71622R8 series also integrates a power-on reset management circuit to ensure a stable default
output voltage when the device is started.
Two power-on reset voltage options are available: 0V or medium range to suit different application scenarios.

At 5.5V, the power consumption per channel is only 0.5mA, which is ideal for battery-powered portable devices.
In power saving mode, power consumption is further reduced to 0.5μA/ channel,
significantly extending the service life of the device.

The SGM71622R8 series comes in environmentally friendly
TQFN-3.5×3.5-16AL, TQFN-3×3-16DL and WLCSP-2.45×2.45-16B green packages
with an operating temperature range of -40 ° C to +125 ° C, suitable for a variety of harsh environments.
