SG Micro Corp introduces the high-efficiency synchronous step-down converter SGM61184, supporting an input voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and an output current capacity of 8A. It operates using a fixed switching frequency with peak current control in Forced-PWM mode, ensuring extremely low switch jitter and low output voltage ripple across the full load range. It is widely applicable in fields such as wireless communications, instrumentation, and industrial control.
The SGM61184 chip offers a rich set of features and flexible configurations, including enable function, adjustable soft-start, adjustable switching frequency, adjustable output voltage, external loop compensation, power good indication, frequency synchronization support, pre-bias start-up, and comprehensive protection features. The chip is packaged in an environmentally friendly TQFN-3.5×3.5-18AL green package.
